For over 30 years, FEMIA has designed and manufactured a complete range of vegetable processing equipment for canning, freezing and dehydrating plants, covering the following operations:

• Reception of product at the factory

• Cleaning (fan separators, destoners, washers, vibrating cleaners)

• Size grading of peas, kidney beans

• Size grading, snipping, and cutting of green beans

• Trimming and size grading of various other vegetables

• Blanching (water/steam) and cooling of all vegetables

• Filling in cans or jars (vegetables and fruits)

• Interconnecting equipment (vibrating conveyors, hydraulic elevators)

FEMIA is also in a position to undertake the study, layout and installation of complete preparation lines (capacity range: 1 to 20 tons per hour)
